People are Fantastic. Life is Wonderful.

I saw this bumper sticker today and although I had a good, good laugh first, I’d like to think most days I agree to that (or am at least trying to).

So, the weekend is almost upon us and Grayson and I are still trying to get back into the swing of things after a fabulous trip (adult trip, that is) to Las Vegas last weekend.  Ryan was pretty much thrust back into the swing of things with work and Grayson and I have been taking a more leisurely approach.  It’s not too efficient however.  Anywho, Ryan and I had a great time in Vegas and thoroughly enjoyed meeting Elvis.  I am in the process of ordering photos from our renewal of vows ceremony (no personal pics allowed inside) and have posted a link to our own pictures on Snapfish (to the right) and will probably add more when I get them from Stacy.  Here are a few pictures give you a taste of the good times we had.

Upon first arriving at the Bellagio, we explored the hotel including the Gardens.

The Views from our room were fantastic. We also saw the Grand Canyon while flying into Vegas.

The Fountains were right outside our room so we could watch the show any time we wanted!

The Fountains went off about every 15 minutes until midnight.

Even though the temps reached 112 degrees, the pool was excellent.

Do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of.

Maybe a lot of folks think of Benjamin Franklin (right?) when they hear that, but not me.  Maybe it’s because I’m from Georgia….when I hear that, I think of Gone with the Wind.  Yes Ma’am.

Anywho…I am trying not to waste any of my time right now and also trying to convince myself that sorting through pictures and posting to the blog is not a waste of time and will make me feel accomplished.  It’s hard to focus on anything and be efficient when you know you’ll be in Sin City 24 hours from this moment.  That’s right.  Mr. and Mrs. Manchee will be in Vegas saying our “I Do’s” for the second time with Elvis at our side.  How can you go to Vegas and not get married by Elvis?  Isn’t it a rule?

Well, Ryan and I are super excited and we hope to post some pictures during our trip.  As for now though I’ll leave you with some photos of the cutest kid and stinkiest dog on Earth.
