Grayson is ready for summer, or at least the warm sunshine awaiting us in Florida! I went to the outlets this week to stock up on some sandals, shorts and how could I leave without a cute pair of sunglasses?! Who knows if he’ll actually wear them, but as I have a boy this is as far as I’ll get with “dress up” time!

Grayson has been testing his balance more and more in the past several weeks. He still leans on the sofa, coffee table, wall or gate, but we’ve caught him a few times just hanging out without his hands on anything.

He is not super stable, but definitely making progress. With how quickly and comfortably he is moving around while leaning on the furniture, there are good odds he will take his first steps before he hits the 12-month mark.

Who knows maybe he will decide that he wants to be a ring bearer at Uncle Zach and Aunt Amy’s wedding later this month and take off down the aisle.

On a separate note, Lisa and I have booked our 5-year anniversay trip to Las Vegas. We’re heading out on the 16th of July to celebrate through the weekend. Although we’re still researching chapels, our plan is to get re-married / renew our vows with Elvis on Friday the 17th (our actual anniversary). Stacy and Josh are coming to be help us celebrate (and be witnesses), and everyone else is welcome! Who’s all in?
